About Gravitate Osaka
Gravitate Osaka is the home of Japan’s newest pedestrian suspension bridge, Goda Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in Japan and the 5th longest in the world.
The bridge spans the impressive Aigawa dam lake and offers astounding views of Osaka city and the surrounding mountains. As a marvel of modern engineering, the bridge is entirely asymmetrical, with the bridge’s first tower standing at over 60m tall, and the opposite tower standing at 12m tall. As you walk across, you’ll notice that you’re going down at first and then back up again. The difference in height between the start and finish is 5m, creating a unique experience for all ages.
In front of the bridge there is an enclosed park, with restaurants, shops, picnic spaces, seats, children’s play areas, and a platform offering views of Aigawa dam and surrounds.
